Reasonable size selection ensures full coverage of vehicle fire sources for rapid oxygen isolation. For ordinary motorcycles, electric vehicles and small car local fire points, compact sizes of 2m×2m and 3m×4m are portable and practical. For mainstream family sedans and SUVs, 5m×5m and 6m×8m specifications are the most widely used, capable of covering the entire vehicle body to prevent fire spread. Large-size 6m×9m blankets are customized for large SUVs, commercial vehicles and charging station emergency fire protection, realizing comprehensive fire control for vehicle batteries and cabins.
In conclusion, automotive fire blanket selection must follow scenario-based matching rules. Fuel vehicles can choose cost-effective silicone-coated glass fiber blankets with conventional temperature resistance, while new energy vehicles must equip high-temperature-resistant composite fiber blankets. Meanwhile, the size should be selected according to the vehicle type to balance portability and protection area.
