For African agricultural scenarios, high cost-performance and strong environmental adaptability are the core selection criteria. The most suitable option is UV-resistant woven PE composite hoses with a pressure rating of 0.6–0.8MPa. This material perfectly adapts to Africa’s strong sunlight and high-temperature environment, greatly slowing aging and extending service life. Its excellent wear resistance prevents damage from friction on rocky farmland. The medium pressure range matches most local ordinary water pump equipment, avoiding insufficient water pressure or hose burst risks. Meanwhile, it is affordable and easy to transport and store, fully fitting the actual production conditions of African small and medium-sized farms.
In conclusion, irrigation hose selection must balance material durability, pressure applicability and local environmental characteristics. For African users, abandoning low-cost and fragile ordinary PVC hoses and choosing 0.6–0.8MPa UV-resistant PE woven hoses can maximize irrigation stability, reduce replacement costs, and achieve long-term and efficient agricultural irrigation.
